A VDMA-15552 stainless steel rod nut for an ISO-15552 cylinder is used to secure and fix the rod of a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder.

The main part of the nut has a hexagonal shape, which allows it to be tightened and loosened using an open-end wrench.
