WAFER TYPE UNIDIRECTIONAL PNEUMATIC KNIFE GATE VALVE

The wafer type one-way pneumatic knife gate valve, also known as a gate valve, is suitable for liquids containing a maximum of 5% suspended solids. If used for gravity discharge of dry solids, it is recommended that it be installed with the arrow on the body pointing in the opposite direction of the fluid.

It is suitable for applications such as paper industry, mining, wastewater treatment, chemical plants, food industry, pumping, silo unloading, etc.

• Provides high flow rates with low pressure drops.

• One-piece cast body with slides to support the gate and closing wedges.

• Multiple sealing and packing materials available.

• Flanges according to EN 1092-1 PN10.

• Body: made of nodular steel GJS-500-7 and stainless steel CF8M

• Gate: made of AISI 304 stainless steel for valves with steel body and AISI 316 stainless steel for valves with CF8M body. Other materials can be supplied upon request.

• Packing: standard manufacturing in synthetic + PTFE.

• Seal: standard EPDM manufacturing. Nitrile, FPM, Viton, Silicone or PTFE can be supplied on request.

• Seat 1 - metal/metal seal: does not include any type of sealing gasket and the estimated leak is 1.5% of the flow in the pipe

• Seat 2 - standard metal/rubber seal: includes a sealing gasket attached to the body internally by means of a clamping ring made of AISI-316

• Suitable for liquids containing a maximum of 5% suspended solids.

• Working pressure 3-10 bar
