Viton O-ring thread
It is an extruded profile with a circular section that is used to create a seal and maintain a good seal.
O-rings allow the manufacture of virtually any gasket size without the need to invest in expensive moulding tools. Once the required O-ring length is known, it is cut and its ends are joined with adhesive or by hot vulcanisation.
