Teflon thread sealant is made of 100% polytetrafluoroethylene ( PTFE ), a synthetic polymer that is resistant to corrosion, aggressive chemicals and high temperatures. It is a sealant material used to create tight, leak-resistant joints on pipe and fitting threads.
It has common applications such as the food industry, chemical industry, pneumatic and hydraulic installations, heating systems, plumbing installations.
