What are Camlock Fittings?

Camlocks are a type of quick coupling used to connect and disconnect a hose or pipe quickly, easily and safely. Using the lever system, the male fitting is perfectly anchored in the female fitting.

They are mainly used in the chemical industry for their safety and ease of use, but also for the passage of petroleum products, in laboratories, the food industry, etc.

Types of Camlocks

Camlocks fittings are classified as follows:

• Camlock type “A” stainless :

• Stainless steel camlock type “B” : female camlock + female thread connection.

• Stainless steel “C” type camlock : female camlock + spigot

• Camlock type “D” : female camlock + male thread connection

• Camlock type “E” stainless : male camlock + spigot

• Camlock type “F” stainless steel : male camlock + male thread connection

• Stainless “DP” type camlock : male + blind camlock (TAP)

• Camlock type “DC” stainless steel : female camlock + blind (TAP)
