RUBBER PLATES
Rubber sheets are sheets of rubber used in various applications due to their strength and durability properties.
Here are some common applications and types of rubber sheets:
- SBR Rubber Hardness 71° Shore A, density 1.50 gr./cm3, use temperature range -20° C/70° C, black color. Commonly called rubber alone, for basic applications where a high-performance product is not required.
- EPDM rubber. Hardness 20° Shore A, density 750 kg/m3, use temperature range -40° C/100° C, red color. More resistant to friction and impact than the spongy neoprene plate, since it has greater density. High weather resistance thanks to its EPDM compound.
- NR rubber. Hardness 50° Shore A, density 1, 25 grs/cm3, use temperature range -20° C/90° C. Ideal for jobs where resistance to friction, impact and at the same time a flexible and ductile product is required. High flexibility and high tear resistance.
- FKM fluorinated rubber. Hardness 70° Shore A, density 1.90 gr/cm3, use temperature range -35° C/2000 C, brown color. Ideal for applications where the rubber is in contact with acids in high concentration, it easily accepts hydrocarbon derivatives, high octane gasoline and greases of any type.
- Natural Rubber Sheets: Natural rubber is known for its elasticity and tear resistance. It is used in a variety of applications such as floor coverings, conveyor belts and anti-vibration components.
Rubber sheets are multipurpose materials that are characterized by their great versatility . They are such complete materials that their use extends to a large number of sectors and situations where their usefulness is essential for much more professional work. Any industry uses these types of rubber sheets, in any of the materials they are composed of.
Certain rubber sheets are obtained from latex - which comes from plants and the bark of trees - and which, normally mixed with other synthetic components, create these resistant rubber sheets. Rubber plates and sheets that are currently used in a wide variety of environments, activities and performances.
